Mark served on a special forces contract, bouncing between Fort Bragg and the southeast before being stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. From there, Mark worked extensively across Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, and the Baltic nations, collaborating with various NATO and international partners.
🤝 Mentorship & Influences
Mark credits a former Force Recon Marine for providing crucial pre-enlistment guidance, and an instructor during the Special Forces qualification course who—despite Mark experiencing a major failure—went significantly out of his way to check in, offer advice, and ensure Mark returned ready to succeed.
🎰 First Role in Gaming
While pursuing a Master of Public Health, Mark volunteered to do research for Kindbridge on the lack of responsible gambling mechanisms on Department of Defense bases. This unpaid work allowed Mark to pitch a military research associate program to KRI leadership. This was eventually funded by DraftKings and led to a permanent role.
